Mr. Bell has been teaching for over twenty years. Most of that time has been in the middle grades, but he does have experience on the elementary level.
He earned his Bachelor Degree from Monmouth University as well as a Master of Arts Degree in Teaching and a second Master's degree in School Leadership & Administration. Love for technology pushed him towards
obtaining Microsoft Certifications and endorsements. Use of technology still remains an important part of his lesson planning.
He has spent more than six years training fellow teachers on the use of technology, from Office Applications, to Web Page Design and Troubleshooting.
Mr. Bell is presently teaching 7th (American History) and 8th (World History) grade Social Studies at Wm. R. Satz Middle School in Holmdel, NJ where he also coaches Cross Country.
He has worked as both a 5th grade teacher and a technology coordinator. Track & Field has always been a very important part of his life.
He has coached youth and middle school track for 10 years. He has been responsible for developing some young runners that have been very productive in the shore area. At present, he is the Head Coach in charge of sprints and jumps at Holmdel High School.
Teaching is something he really loves to do. When not in the classroom golf, football, basketball, and of course
spending time with his wonderful family is what you will find him doing.
"Always strive to be your best, because life is not a dress rehearsal."
